I have just applied for a British Passport for myself and for my two daughters. Firstly its a headache as you have to phone the embassey in the uk and you get charged on your credit card for doing so if you have any questions. Both my parents were born in the Uk as well as my three brothers, my dad was transfered to SA on a working contract and i was born one year later, both my girls were born in South Africa, hense having both parents as south african, does anyone know if im going to encounter problems, it costs alot of money and even if your application is rejected you have to pay. I have been on so many websites but it all seems a bit confusing. Does anyone have any advice on this? Im all set to leave SA and in the middle of a divorce, its going to be hectic waiting 6 weeks only to find out that its been rejected. I might be a bit paranoid about the whole thing as my family dont think ill have a problem.
