    I need to switch off dynamic contrast

    I have a Samsung 40D550. I use it with my PS3 and PC via HDMI. It's irritating the crap out of me. I've found the option under advanced, but it's greyed out. I've tried googling but only find things regarding special codes to enter. It can't be that hard can it?
