    Polo TSI - Should I go with metallic paint?

    Hi I want to buy one of the new Polos and the colours I'm considering are Blue Silk (Metallic) and Sunset Red (Metallic). However, I'm scared that these colours might fade after 5+ years. Does modern car paint still fade at all? Would I be safer going with White? :)

    My car's metallic lacquer coat is chipping off everywhere. I drive a super old Ford Fiesta. What about would it cost me to have only the lacquer coat repaired?
