    Need help interpreting traceroute

    So since 27/12/2013 I have had retarded latencies on my ADSL line. Being used to these kind of issues I immediately did a speed test and trace route and I notified both Afrihost and Telkom.     What's your Google.co.za Ping time? Hanging issues.

    Upon doing a Traceroute, i found that google.co.za follows the same USA route and has the same Ping time as google.com. What gives? I would have thought google.co.za to run locally, facilitating quicker response times? Google.com & Google.co.za Ping average - 530 ms 19 hops, 5 networks...
