been bustin my butt form 2 hours trying to get my netgear wireless router GT834UK up and running. put in all the settings but the test keeps failing. As my ADSL was set up today (well yesterday technically) and Openweb only gave me a username and pawwsord late in the day what could be the problem?how do i know if my adsl line is even working- can't trust Telkom now can you! any help??

Tibby has it - without those settings, you can try all day and get niks. With those settings, all should be fine.

Openweb haven't given any DNS settings??

Not a train-smash. Phone them and ask them what their DNS IP's are. If all else they should actually be able to assign them automatically?
