084 145 (New Contract) - Horribly disappointing

I first called Cell C (084 145) on Friday just after lunch. I verbally placed my order over the phone with Patricia.

After the application for the Samsung Galaxy S II she said my application was provisionally approved however due to the high end package (Active Chat 100) it needs to be escalated to the activations department for a further in depth check. I was told she will get back to me and request required paperwork as when/if needed.

Monday came and I heard nothing. Tuesday morning I called and then she asked me to send her the required documents. (bank statements etc) to send back to the escalated department. I was told I will hear back from her again today regarding the success of the procedure and when the phone shall be delivered.

I just called the order tracking number (Option 2) and they tell me my application has still not been processed.

What on earth does one do to get the application to get moving faster? 4 business days to not even have the application processed? Come on Cell C!
 
I have just been through this. Cell C is just terrible. The only way I got any joy was complaining on Hellopeter and then someone helped me.

Sorry for the late response was in training the whole day but your application is in our quality control department there won't be any hassle from there on will update you as promised even if not immediately when you send a mail but before closed of business the same day
