I'm not sure if this is correct place to post this. But recently I've installed Win7. And now sometimes when I want to run programs I get a 0xc000007b error. So far this has only happened with two programs.

I've checked, my .net framework is up to date and no dll files are damaged. Any suggestions?

Any help would be appreciated.

So far, Call Of Duty 4, Trackmania nations forever and VCS 2009. I've tried re-installing them all. Still getting the same error.

Have you tried running them in compatibility mode for xp? - a quick google search: might be something to do with a virus or .net framework... antivirus up to date?

you're not giving enough info... are you running any software security suite and which AV?

it's probably related to some .net dependency. could lees likely also be related to malware..

Well, I've re-installed my .net framework (v3.5) and I'm not running any AV atm since it's still a new copy of windows.

But my Windows (64x) boots fine, and MOST programs run. It's only a few programs that are crashing like this.

And I'm not getting a BSOD, only a Message Dialog saying "The application as unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to terminate the program."
