1 DSTV link, 2 screens

Hi Guys

Got a quick question, I have a TV mounted to a pillar, I have now added a 2nd TV to the other side of the pillar. Only the one TV has the DSTV connected to it at the moment.

How do I split the screen to show the exact same channels, without getting an ExtraView ?

Can I just get a splitter and run between the 2 TV's ?

Good option, it regenerates the signal as well, way better than my amazon link.

Thanks for the response guys.

The decoder is connected in the server room, how it runs from there to the TV is by a using one of those Antenna cables (cant remember what the connector is called) which links to the eye for the DSTV remote.

lol, I should have explained in detailed how it all connects.

the 2 way splitter should work then.. though you may need to put the eye on the in cable and the splitter after that to the tvs to avoid any possible power degradation to the eye if placed after the splitter..

yes, that would be perfect.. had no idea these splitters came with the power pass option.. thats cool to know..

Thanks guys, the splitter worked great.

Bought a type of a "Y" splitter at Spar, nothing fancy, complete plastic and it worked immediately.

Had to finish that before the new year started.
