Ok ... New date up ...

I see most of the ISPs are stipulating new prices valid till 31 Dec 2005.

Is there any good news on the horizon for then?

Or is it all bad news ... Higher ADSL charges, Interest rate going up, Petrol cost going up?

I think Telkom wants to screw us over, xmas is coming and santa cant afford a 12 million rand pay check... so they have to get it from somewhere.

I know the Imagine pricing wont change much, when i asked them they said the current pricing is a specail they are running and that it may increase by a few rand after December...

I hate it when people tell me "a few rand"! That means nothing. A few rand could be R500.00 for all we know.

I really really REALLY hope that 1 Jan brings us some good news, but somehow I doubt it!

I disaggre R500 on a R199 account is not a few...its just a special not a fundamental change like 1Nov...you know like cheap butter at spar ;)

Okay, that's very true. I am just incredibly weary of anything Telkom or ISPs have to say. I'm just really really angry about this whole thing.

By the way does anyone else find it strange that Telkom seem to think that 3GB on a 1mb line is sufficient? I mean if my math is correct, then you could use up your cap in 8 hours? *Sigh*

I find it amazing that certain ISP's think that you can "surf all you want" with a 1gb cap...

seeing as telkom isnt changing their prices, do you reckon ALL the ISP's came together and said "Hey, lets rip these nice people off and make a FORTUNE that costs us nothing!" ?

I think its possible since we live in Sunny SA :)

Telkom isn't changing their prices because they are still selling the same 5#!+ product...

HAHAHA

Yeah I can just picture all the ISP directors in an abandoned warehouse, scheming about how to rip us off!

Yeah, download all you want on a 1mb line for a grand total of 2.7 hours. Then you have to get another one.

People are very strange!
