Hi there people of www world.
I'm having my Telkom line installed tomorrow. I need to know who you think I must join, WebAfrica, M-Web, Axxess, for 1 meg line uncapped please. I phoned the guy at Axxess, and he told me once my line is in, I need to wait further 6 weeks for my line to be carried over to ADSL by Axxes? Any advice for me
Thanx people
Chris

6 weeks is pathetic in my opinion, if i was new to ADSL i'd rather do the line thru telkom then buy capped gigs from someone like afrihost to see how much i actually need. no use going "un-uncapped" if i'd only use 5GB

Go Webafrica. you won't be dissappointed.

Hi, Thanx for reply Stevie G. Why do you say WEBAFRICA? Is service good, and how much will I be able to download during the month. I see the line Cost is R200, Data-R289
Thanx

@OP: you do not have to transfer your line to axxess. You can make use of them as an ISP only. Afrihost has been bought out by axxess.

Choosing an ISP is not easy as everyone will tell you that their ISP is the best. The bottom line is that you get what you pay for; if you want cheap and nasty, you'll get cheap and nasty.

Uncapped 1Mbps ISPs, in no order of preference, are: axxess, Afrihost, Cybersmart, Mweb, openweb, Telkom, WebAfrica (amongst others).

Some of them offer you a trial account... why not go for it? Telkom still have their 3 month free uncapped offer. Why not sign up for it, try it out (for free) and then use that time to explore all the other options? Just be very sure to cancel in time!
