Anybody playing or try to play 1 vs 100 on xbox live.

I played the beta successfully for 2 weeks and enjoyed it but for the last 2 weeks cannot get into any 1 vs 100 game at all.

I have checked the official xbox website and tried the suggestions, e.g. deleting game file in memory and download again but still no luck. The downloads seem to go to 99% complete then before it completes 100% it notes "cant complete this download, try again later".

Anyone successfully playing??? Any tips! I miss playing the game and wanna compete again :)

Same thing happened to me. Worked fine for the first 2 weeks or so, and then I started getting errors when trying to join a game. It looks like they've enabled region blocking - which was pretty much expected with real prizes being introduced. You'll probably find if you used a UK/US VPN you'll have no problems at all.

Most VPN services are paid services, and they're only a few dollars a month - personally I don't trust free ones. But there are some out there: http://itshidden.com/ . You'll then want to setup your PC using ICS and connect to the VPN. Then use your PC as the gateway for the Xbox 360.

Your Xbox 360 sends all requests through your PC (which is connected to the VPN), which gives it an international IP address (US / UK depending where the VPN server is hosted).

There's many discussions on it over here: http://www.xbox-360.co.za/forum/xbox-live-specific-topics/

Region blocking is in place, they also are blocking purchase of MS Points via CC but will bill LIVE via the same CC with no issue??? What gives M$ ???

Watch out when charging your XBL subscription to a credit card. If for some reason a transaction fails, you account will be suspended, and it's near impossible to fix it. You can read more here: http://www.xbox-360.co.za/forum/xbo.../19951-xbox-live-credit-cards-read-first.html

Rather set your account to prepaid, and purchase from online stores.

^^^ nope I have CC billing on LIVE bounce, and no problem, it goes through later. Just now they won't allow MS Points???

Well, by all means, take the chance ;)

Btw, I had a similar problem when I used to use my credit card. I couldn't purchase MS Points with the same credit card used for my Xbox LIVE subscription. I had to load a second card.

I seem as well to be billed for MS Live month to month via credit card which works fine but cannot use the same credit card for MS points. I find this frustrating and am tempted to use mspoints.co.za as i want to buy some songs for lips and also arcade games...especially marvel vs capcom 2

Anybody buy from mspoints.co.za?

With regards 1 vs 100, other than possible VPN routes, is there no other way to not get blocked to play e.g. the 1 vs 100 non prize sessions?
