Trade union Solidarity has released a 10-point plan which it says will work to save the South African economy from junk status.

Solidarity's "cure" for SA's ills are valid, but there will be little if any real support from the ANC decision-makers. The will to "cure" just does not exist within the ruling party. Their fat-cats will continue to prosper, and the Hoi Polloi will just accept it.

Bellow Investment grade is inevitable (if not 3 June then December) and already priced into the market - we need a 10-point plan to extricate ourselves from it. Economic growth and government spending being the two enemies of Moody's et al. With Zupta still in charge the prospects are exceedingly bleak.
