1000 Eskom workers fired

Eskom contractors have fired over 1000 workers for taking part in an illegal strike at the Medupi power station in Lephalale, Limpopo, the power utility said on Friday

They going to break everything, riot and cause chaos only to be re-instated later.

Funny how the ANC defends the strikers when the strikers are striking against anyone else.

Eskom initiates rolling blackout, 1000 blacks are out of a job :)

Unfortunately we will now move on to rioting and property damage.

Can't wait to see what will happen if they go ahead with the plan to load shed non paying areas.

It does, their last batch of Medupi promises are yet again at stake here. ;)

And the impact on them is???

They have no credibility with the thinkers already. And the non-thinkers don't care.

How the hell do you get to replace these ungrateful workers. As an unemployed construction student it is impossible to find employment on sites like these. I'd give up my pinkie finger to get a job there.

The power station is 5 years behind.
Were they really working at all?
We wont miss them at all.

How did you find out the race of all 1000 dismissed employees?
