Been on hold for over 40 minutes waiting to speak to a 'consultant'.

Yesterday afternoon I tried to get in touch with 0800 375 375 and gave up.
I sat at home with my cell phone on loudspeaker. Got in my car, drove to the shop to buy some rolls the whole time with me on hold.
Stopped at the bottle store to get some beers, went home and still no answer. Gave up.

Wonder how long it will take them to answer this call?
 
What division is it? I've never phoned that number.
 
now when I select speak to a consultant option 2 the call is dropped.

Wonder what influence TELKOM not paying juicy bonuses to staff has on these prehistoric service levels

The music is actually quite catchy after you control the murderous rage that has built up within your soul.

Nice ads about how TELKOM is a world class company that will bring FIFA world Cup to us and the world. Lets hope no one needs to phone accounts in 2010.

Lulu Letlape has made comments about the company (TELKOM) improving service levels and attending to faults speedily.

I find that hard to believe if they dont even answer their phones!
Maybe they just dont answer and pretend there are no problems.

Oh well, will continue holding waiting to speak to a consultant from tis proudly south african company.

This to get TELKOM to reconnect my line that they wrongly unplugged and to get a faxed copy of my last months account.
2 Hours, perhaps I should just be happy it is done and pretend it never happened.

Now to just get that tune out of my head.
 
Yes, silly me, and interconnection fees, inflated pricing and anal bandwidth policies.
 
I know that music all too well....sometimes, in my darkest nightmares, I hear those flutes. Then I wake up in a cold-sweat, screaming!
 
I was on hold for just over 2 hours nearly, was I patient, even used waiting call.. to make other important phone calls as time is money.... I'm sick and tired of waiting, they should explain you are number 2 in the line, I'm sure i was customer 10000 on the line, even called telkom on a sunday one night.. Took them approx 1 hour or more.
