10GbE Switches

Hi all

Looking to possibly upgrade our core switch to a 10GbE switch. Mid range. Looking at the HPE FlexFabric 5820AF 24XG Switch

I have no idea if it's any good. What is there in the Cisco range?

I'd go with the HP ZL series for Core as its more redundant plus lifetime warranty and you can select whatever ZL modules - nice for expansion. You also get much more switching capacity @ 760Gbps up from 488Gbps on the above. They come in multiple sizes. As for HP - I'm super happy with them as the parts are easier to come by than Cisco in my experience plus Datacentrix are great with HP. Configuring them are also quite nice.
