10MB ADSL and get a free DSTV Explora?

tried calling 10210. Was on hold for 45 minutes. The music was giving me suicidal thoughts so dropped the call.
 
You get the explora for free. still need a subscription to it I guess.
 
Upgraded to a 40mbps line recently, was told they have no stock of the explora and they will let me know when they have stock...

Subscription to the DSTV I get. I just don't want to stuck in a contract with Telkom. If I want to downgrade back to 4MB in a months time, I want that option.

Well, that's why they lock you into a contract. A lot of people will do just that and Telkom will end of loosing out in the deal.
 
So got called form Telkom yesterday afternoon after requesting a call back on the website.

Went through the whole long process of signing up only to be told right at the end of a 15 minute conversation this would lock me into a 24 months contract at which point I told the guy to get stuffed.

He also mentioned all upgrades now lock clients into 24 months contracts. Is this true?
 
these turds only want to give me four. exchange is capable of more but they don't want to send more krag to the exchange. to far to get 20mb. maybe I should tell them to connect me to that 20mb box and get 10mb at the end of the day.

then again my line is working.
