10mb Uncapped Account - Need help

Morning people

I currently have a 10mb uncapped account with Mweb, paying R999 a month...

I download +- 300 gig a month and have never been throttled by Mweb, which I'm happy about..
But lately Mweb service has been dropping to many times and the ping been to high..

Now I'm thinking to switch to another ISP, and strongly thinking of Afrihost or Openweb and at the back of my mind Telkom, they all cheaper then Mweb.

Could anybody tell me their experiences with these companies and if you think i will be throttled downloading 300 gig a month, dont want to join an ISP that is going to throttle me.

Please help with some advise

What are your usage patterns? i.e. What times do you use the line the most, what times you download, need lowest pings, etc?
 
I pay R854 including line rental at Axxess (R495 for life special 10mbit uncapped). Not sure what their current prices are.

Their shaping really isn't that bad anymore. I've got SABNzbd capped to 3GB per day and that's low enough to keep me out of the shaped zone for the most part. 320GB last month and 730GB the month before (lots of 3D movies).

Anyway, I'm happy with it.
 
I run an Internet Cafe - So during the day i have 8 computers running but that's just surfing..

At night i download - music, games, movies depends.. And also do alot of online gaming on PS3 at night, so the ping matters alot there.. Nothing irritates more then lag when trying to shoot someone..
 
If you only using 300GBs a month I would suggest trying Telkom Internet. They dont seem to shape their network at all but they do throttle your line speed should you be deemed an abuser. You should be able to do at least double your current amount of data easily without being throttled.

Maybe an Afrihost Business account? Not badly priced at R997 for 10Mbit uncapped.
 
Im trying to maybe save some costs - if i use afrihost business its the same price
