Well, what is you goal? Retirement savings in an RA or discretionary investments?

They basically have 1 product (which you can get via your employer retirement fund or a Retirement Annuity/Preservation fund or a Unit Trust). The product is an index balanced fund (thus Regulation 28 complaint as a retirement fund must be).

I personally like their methodology, the 50% in local equity uses a Top 60 index with caps on size of individual share that can be held (cap is 6%). For example that limited Steinhoff to 1.2% of fund (2.4% of the equity part).

10X keeps getting cheaper as it grows. Sygnias strong point in my mind is that one can construct ones own RA from their various funds.

And obviously if a discretionary investment it's got a lot more options.
 
I don't recommend 10x personally, always had a bad experience and very limited control. Getting any funds transferred out is a nightmare, staff always bounce you from person to person.
Sygnias give you more control and I had a greater return.
It all comes down to your goal, however 10x will offer a safer and consistent return.

10x service has been outstanding so far..... Responding to very email.... EASY Equities was a big headache never tried S..... By any chance do you have a link?

I agree 10x Service replies and responses are quick. But the process to get a fund transferred is a nightmare. maybe Am just impatient and want to skip the process instead of going through 3-4 people. I see they online portal improving and it might be a step in the right direction.

One thing I do like about them is there service tbh,always helping might stop with investments for now though after this 4 is enough

I'm also now with 10x. Also moved over from :sick: Sanlam. Moved about 2 months back. Took about 3 weeks for transfer to finalize. Mostly because of Sanlam's hold up and processes. Jirre, and did they call me and email me, every second day, to tell me what a big mistake I'm making and pleading me to stay. Glad I'm done with those clowns.
 
I'm with them too, through my company. Seem to be pretty decent.
 
I am in the process of moving from Liberty to 10x. So far the service has been great.
They did a full analysis of all my portfolios and how the lower fees would improve my overall return.
The online application was super simple and able to sign all documentation and submit required docs online.

I am now waiting for Liberty to transfer my account they say it takes up to 180. So far been 90days and still waiting.
So glad I'm moving away from Liberty.

Similar story moving my one Old Mutual fund.

Eternal hold up from their side to get it done while 10x updates me almost weekly.

Also telling me what a bad move it is yet in the few months it’s been with 10x it’s already done better than OM and that with a lot of **** in the market.

Will probably move my other active RA’s next year as well.
