OK, so let's see:

...
I'm happy with the factuality of my statements. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt on SA's ability to ramp up oil production if they so wanted.

ITO what Dubya is going to do about Iran: I'm speculating. Just yesterday a very high-ranking US military manager was fired for his views against a possible US invasion of Iraq. There are now very few voices in the US military command structure that opposes military action.
Why did you omit all the "what ifs" included in the what if Iran war? Those were particularly the one's I was talking about. Especially the paragraph that starts with Imagine: the whole thing is a "what if". As for your facts:

The Sub Prime issue manifested itself last year already, it's an ongoing problem, not a new one.
The US is already in recession - the US will be the last to admit it.
The Russians are not a primary energy source in the world - they don't even rank in the top 5. And everyone expects Russia to use political maneuvering in everything they do - they're Russian.

As for speculation on the US military invading... They will not invade another country unprovoked for at least a decade - invading a new country is not an option, no matter how many conspiracy theories you read, or how many military officials resign. The US simply cannot afford another invasion - and their congress will veto any steps in that direction.

Finally: all the oil producing nations are having a field day at rising oil prices. In fact, given that production output has remained mostly the same all year round, it's entirely the weakening dollar that's fueling the oil price hikes, and not output overall. Oil producers are smiling all the way to the bank - why would SA ramp up output while they can reap huge reward at current levels?
