126 (Horizon View) problems?

Has anyone had any problems connecting to this tower since lunch time yesterday? My connection was down all night and most of yesterday afternoon.
Wondering if the fault is on my side because the helpdesk says there was/is nothing wrong on their side...It's on now but it keeps disconnecting every 5 minutes.

jhbgirl im having the exact same problem, not on your tower though, im on 82.. but i connect then like a few seconds or minutes later it disconnects and gives me errors when i reconnect, does it also give you errors? i get a PPP link error.

I'm on a router so I don't see any error messages. On the few occasions that I've had it on usb the only message I got was 'remote computer did not respond'. Apparently they were working on 126 all night but again there is like 5 different stories from different people about what's going on.

well whats new... ive phoned about 11 times and each time its something different ON MY SIDE thats wrong.. nothing to do with the tower...

I can't see how it can be something on your side if the modem/signal was working and then all of a sudden it doesn't. It's very frustrating I know but hang in there. It will get better. I think they busy with upgrades atm.

Insaniac - I'm also on #126 (which I know as the Brixton tower) - maybe a dumb question - but is it the same tower for Horizon View? Given my ongoing crap with sentech re DAMN good signal and ***A speeds - it seems oddly similar, altho I dont get the disconnects you're getting - but my signal's at around 44% and yet I've a max of 3 - 5k d/l speed..

all i know is that there more then 1 towers with the same basestation number, im on 82, but when i complain, they always say WHICH 82, so perhaps there more then 1 126's, my connection today has been quite stable, been on 4 hours now, its gotten better since i installed the software as ETHERNET instead of USB, which the help desk told me to do after the 11th time i had phoned... (first time they've MAYBE gotten something right?) but your case lonegunman is mind boggling.. 40% signal? thats mad...

Tower 126 is both Horison View as well as Brixton.
