Hello all,
I have a first gen i7 cpu using a DX58SO mobo but the other day while i was jamming a game all my usb ports turned off, so i had to restart my pc then once i restarted they went off again and started going on and off the whole time so i unplugged, cleaned and put everything back in and it still persisted. eventually after alot of trying my pc stopped posting(Black screen with white dash in the top left corner which doesnt flash)
I've tried the bare minimum only have power/vga all my usbs are disconnected/hdds etc even have my case reset/power sw disconnected using the button on the board to turn the pc on.. tried resetting my bios countless times and the problem still persists, pc turns on then freezes.
So long story short im guessing its the mobo but nowhere stocks 1366 sockets anymore so im looking here to see if anyone knows where i can get a second hand one or a new one from somewhere its urgent and i dont have enough money for a full system upgrade right now.
