Fourteen Zimbabweans were arrested for possession of explosives worth over R350,000 in Musina, Limpopo police said on Thursday.

"These undocumented suspects were found in possession of 100 detonators and cartridges worth over R350,000 in their bags," Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi said.

They were arrested 10km east of Beit Bridge on Wednesday, after they illegally crossed the Limpopo River into South Africa, he said.

They were expected to appear in the Musina Magistrate's Court on Friday.

Probably mining explosives.
Anyhow they should get the whole book thrown at them
Illegal entry
Terrorism
Explosives
and anything else.

Just people prepping for the annual pre-Christmas ATM bombings.
Personally - I'd have them escorted back into Zimbabwe and released.
Out of the back of a Hercules - at cruising altitude - over Harare.

But hey - that's just me.

Can't bomb ATM's anymore. The money is protected inside nasty Inc container...Worthless paper you get for all he noisy work.

Most probably for mining sector.

The police in Musina, Limpopo have made yet another breakthrough when they arrested 14 suspects for being in possession of explosives.

The suspects, all from the neighbouring Zimbabwe, had already crossed the Limpopo River illegally when they were confronted by officers who were in a joint-operation with the South African National Defence Force about 10 kilometers east of Beit Bridge. The suspects were found in possession of 100 detonators and cartridges worth over R350 000 in their bags.

That's not so much....R350000 will be more like a bakkie full of it

They were just trying to make a living. Don't be too hard on them.

Ja man, they're just trying to put enough cash together for a World Cup bid.

It will be interesting to see if it actually comes to court but, if it does, I wonder if the presiding magistrate will make the sentence proportionate to the five years earned by the AWB studio guy for his six homemade shotguns etc.

Visagie, along with his 18-year-old son Jan, was arrested in March 2011 after six home-made shotguns, a 9mm semiautomatic pistol, as well as parts of another gun and a large quantity of ammunition were*found in...

We need a special mybb fund to buy the 'splosive stuff from crooked cops to liberate ourselves from e-toll gantries.
