So its funny when they managed to find 16... in the whole of CPT These are members. IE, someone who paid their R10 for the membership card. You can go to a local office with 16 people, sign them up (which the local DA office will gladly do) and then walk out and sign them up for the ANC. You can then tell everyone that 16 members of the DA joined you. 
16 Members? haha... and their numbers "swelled". At any ward branch opening here in BCM that I officiate at, we get around 400-500 former ANC members
They are fools if they're striking when the industry in which they work is at risk locally and the loss of export income ultimately harms both them and their community. Same goes for the miners. They may have valid complaints, and even deserve to be paid more, but ultimately all they achieved was to hurt themselves and South Africa as a whole.
No, they won't if they expect to be treated as black, rather than as people.
It looks like nothing of the sort.
On the contrary it was a massive overreaction, but politically necessary even though parties like the ANC do nothing about their openly racist members.
