I bought mine via www.excellular.co.za. It's about R1,000 cheaper (R4,600 or so) but still, like you noticed, not as "cheap" as if you imported. I'm trying to see what the disparaty is caused by because I can't see shipping costs adding another R2,000...but then again, you never know.

Hey ID_10_T - sorry for renewing this relatively old thread, but I clicked the link and it currently shows the Playbook 16GB at $499 - perhaps they were running a special at the time?
