Spending R18k on a laptop allows one to work and be productive etc etc, so you can therefore earn more money.

18" mags add no value to your car and are just an expense. In this current economic climate, unnecessary expenses are just not the smartest thing on the planet.

I've got an 18" black mag on Audi A4 and they do look nice! But tyres are a bit expensive though.

I like the VW thread, I like the VW/BMW guys they 'n lekker bunch, not like us ALFA guys that like verything standard and no modifying or OEM modifying...just irks me out that when I go to club meets or have my own club meeting the OLDER guys normally stay one side and the young ous are one side...same with breakfast runs, they are boring...but I guess that's the tarnished name of Alfa...Young guys don't want the aparent gesukkelry..

oh anyway, back to the point, BS CH wheels are moer expensive! A look alike is the sure bet here, just don't ut BBS caps on a BBS look alike...totally wrong!

I'll get them and then put a nice alfa cap in there!

with the BMW club there was also some hesitation to mingle too much as one feared being snubbed off. when i was a member there were only a few guys that were willing to chat and share ideas and also give advice. i found some of them were ex-members that just showed up at events:D I decided it was not really worth it for me to pay a membership fee any longer.

lol we have the same issue in my Alfa club...on last week wednesday's monthly meeting, only 3 out of 23 ppl showed up, needless to say it was the real car nuts, a modified GT Junior that does 7800rpm easily...30k engine!!!

and a GT 3.2 big dady who's owner isn't affraid to rip the tyres...had the local SPAR in smoke when we left...its YOUNG guys, but also guys who share the passion..

oh...replica wheels are 112pcd...alfa need 98 or 100pcd....lol who knows those guys who claim they can fit any wheel to any car???

Im a huge BBS fan... wish I didnt mind the price, but I do.
Im getting 17" BBS CH reps.

Saw a Nissan Micra 1.4 with 17" BBS RX wheels the other day, made the car more appealing, never thought that was possible hahahaha!!!

originals are actually worth the price though, they very light wheels and they much stronger than some OEM wheels.... and they look hawt!!!:D

WHERE? Dude if you know of GTA mags PLS let me know ASAP...I've been looking for 1 year now...NOT going to pay stealer prices!!!

You have to watch the junkmail / gumtree / iol classifieds for "Now Stripping" ads. When you see anything Alfa call them and get them to put your name on their list for GTA mags. Remember though that the lists are written on scrap paper and thrown away all the time so you need to keep calling. I got replacement Spider headlights using this method for R250 each - dealer wanted R3k for new.
