1996 Corolla front wheel bearings

Dunlop at Cornwall View offer good prices on labour. PM me for the number, not lus to post it here and gief them spammy calls.

Will just need to get the second wheel bearing set on backorder, then I'll take the car to them and leave it in their hands to fix the berrings. As well as the left hand outer CV, it is making kluk-kluk noises when turning :sick:

Not fun driving with noisy bearings, you never know when they will do the big thing and leave you stranded next to the road. :sick:

Might as well do both outer CV joints, more convenient that having to go back and fix the other one later.
 
Just made it.

Left front wheel bearing was making ominous noises of late, and crunchy noises in the mornings :eek: :sick:

Car is now in for CV replacement as well as both wheel bearings.

Will replace the right hand CV when it goes kluk-kluk. Usually a well-maintained CV will last a long time.

Will you guys believe me when I tell you I purchased the outer CV for R120 in 2006? It was sitting in the store doing nothing for more than 10 years... :D It was still in its original packaging and sealing.
