So we all know that the 19th July saw Jupiter with a nice new spot, spotted by an amateur astronomer.
That event seemed to overshadow another event that occured on the same day, and was spotted by another amateur astronomer.

how come amateurs are finding these things where are the professionals or are they too busy making up stories about how the planets were formed back in the day?
