Anyone know who they are or if they're any good.
Where do they operate?
Trying to google them is inviting trouble...

"1GB is not a company name, but a brand name of 123NET which is going to be used on fibre networks which are not owned by 123NET fibre. Such as Constantia Fibre Initiative. We created this brand name only for them.
The prices in that table include the LinkAfrica/Frogfoot Fibre line monthly fees (which are high). Those are the prices ONLY for the Constantia Fibre." --Kalin Bogatzevski

Line rental prices are high???

What rubbish! All of the Constantia fibre products are significantly cheaper than the competition (especially 123Net!).

I believe he's referring to the "open access" line rental charges that Frogfoot charges to the ISP. The low speed line rentals are kind of high compared to some others i've seen, but then the high speed line rentals are comparatively rather cheap.

Overall the ISP charges to the client are very good. the guys really sharpened their pencils to be competitive, which is the great thing about open access.

Wasn't aware 123Net is open access?

Our lower end pricing is far cheaper than ADSL, and definitely on par with other providers - R599 for phone and 10mb uncapped.

Our brand "1GB" is not limited to serving Constantia. Only the prices listed in the table were for Constantia. If you are also in an area covered by Link Africa we would be able to connect you to our network almost immediately. :) The pricing might differ slightly though.
