1meg line problems

Good morning.
How long does it take to upgrade from 1meg uncapped to 2 meg uncapped? I have a problem with my 1meg line. My download speed goes no more than 3kb/s. very annoying as i have signed up a contract of 6 months and cannot cancel, only upgrade. If I call they say it is on my side, but I have left my rooter of for a day, I use about five different devices and all the websites are slow. My Google takes about 40 sec to load the home page.

Usually doesn't take too long. Who do you have your account with? I don't think upgrading is going to fix your issues.

Get a free openweb trial account as well as a Afrihost 1GB account and test with those first to see if things improve.

I am at MWEB. I am not sure if I have a contract that I can just change ISP.
