1st May, After Midnight! & Cap reset...?

OK, the Bandwidth Usage report on the WBS web site still shows the April usage but download speeds indicate that I am uncapped again.

So long as they never followed the old school thought of 'early is better than late' and started the counter at 11:00pm. Oh wait, didn't they do that last month?
 
who cares when the bandwith counter updates, the important thing is as midnight hit, we were uncapped

Still the totals unchanged... all I am worried about is they might have decided that my month will end a month from sign up date?
 
no, last month the cap only started from midnight on april 2nd
 
Ok, I disconnected just before midnight & then reconnected just after, did you?

PS: My usage indicates 3GB remaining, the rest is 0.

no, thats not it at all, we were uncapped from midnight, the bandwith counters just haven't updated. If you were capped before midnight, and reconnect after midnight you are uncapped no matter when you signed up, the counters were never dynamic so its no biggy that they didn't update as midnight hit. But I guarantee if you kill a gig now it will be counted towards your May bandwith

yes I did do that and mine hasn't updated but liek I said before the throttle was lifted and i'm not capped anymore

I see ic had his report updated to reflect 3GB free. He thinks it may be because he disconnected before midnight and then reconnected shortly after. I (and slimothy) tried doing the same but our reports did not update. Perhaps the WBS server's clock is a little fast or slow, so we were back online when the magic moment came...

Anyway, the important part worked.

Update: I see that ic and slimoth have spoken for themselves in this thread. We were probably all typing away at the same time.

Ok disconnected and reconnected still has old values
 
there is a possibility theres some sort of batch work being done on the old stats, maybe some proccessing on each account and then its updated and the proccess started at midnight. The fact that I was uncapped as midnight hit is good enough for me
 
Mine reset at 12:30.. and seriously guys.. We need to all get a life. :p
 
yeah my counter has reset now, and I didn't need to recconect, OK, let the leechign begin

Indeed. ;) Given that there are probably quite a few downloads at full uncapped speed as I type the speed is very good. My download speed graph spends its time between 85 and 121 kBs, with an average since midnight of 90kBs, edging higher.
