2.3.3 hates my battery

So I got the Firmware 2.3.3 update for my HTC Desire HD, was very excited, till I noticed after a day or 2 that the battery life was all bad now. I can MAYBE get 2 days out of it, if I'm lucky and don't touch the phone.

Anybody else having this issue with the new firmware? You'd think google would try and fix this problem after realizing their little blunder.

it does, I basically have to charge it every day now. If I didn't love my Android so much I would have gone back to my old nokia 3310

I had that, but after a week it just quit on me, would not work no matter what I did, so had to uninstall it

Upgraded my GIO from 2.2.1 to 2.3.5.

Battery life increased by 3days.

2 days are not to bad for a smartphone.

2.3.5 will definitely increase your battery life.

but the question is, how long will I have to wait before the OTA is released? :-/

I also get about 2 days on my Galaxy Tab P1000 with 2.3.3. But I use my Tab a lot so I don't mind.
