Ok so here;s the 9600gso am considering.
http://www.xfxforce.com/en-gb/Features/9600GSO.aspx#1
it goes for R1280 at sybaritic so 2 of them will be about 2,5k.
Now i got a sli board am thinking of going for 2 of them.but i see at the same price about maybe little less even i can get 1 radeon 4850 or 1 88GT now i know the 2 geforce 9600Gso will out preform 1 88Gt.

Am just not sure about the radeon:rolleyes:.And am not sure if it worth going radeon cos I find it a bit dumb to put a radeon card in a sli board or other way around.

I would go for 1 8800 and then save up and get another one..Tha will own.

Thats what I did a year or two ago, and still don't see a reason buying another one.
I got 8800gtx with the odd 320mb ram. plays everything but crysis smoothly on full detail.

SLI is more than fine.
You do realise that for R200 more apiece you can get 2x 9600GT instead of 2x 9600GSO... and waste just about any card... or use the ~R3000-R3200 and buy something even better?

Talking about Crysis, a 9600GT can't play it on full graphics. But 2x9600GT.... another story...

Well the 4850 is as low as R1900 now, so it's not such a fair comparison. But if you have the extra cash then I think the SLI setup should beat it, but SLI doesn't work perfectly in all games, and a plain 9600GSO is much worse than the 4850.

Depends froot, i doubt a 9600gt can handle crysis full on anything above 1280 but anyways.

I played it on <high> on a E8400, 9600GT, 4GB800 RAM, 22" at 1440x900, Vista32-bit. It had a slight lag but was barely noticeable.

Single card is better, I'd say. Less power, less noise, less heat and less fuss. Not all games work with SLI/crossfire, nor do all games scales well with it.

If I were you, I'd get the 4850, which is better than the 8800gt performance wise. Unless of course you want extra gimmicks like PhysX.

Thx for all the advice guys;)
I really don't want to go radeon on a sli board for me thats dumb:eek:.But i see I can get a asus geforce 9800Gtx 512 mb 256bit for the same price as the 2 gefoce 9600gso's.So am considering in going for that rather. I know not all games support or work well with Sli but i think with a geforce 9800Gtx even if i don't run sli it will preform.
What u guys think???
