Hi Strobemeister
It depends entirely on your setup. If your router can operate in bridge mode, a lot of Windows users have found RouteSentry to be an excellent solution. You can search for info on it on the forum, it requires the RasPPPoE (I think that's what it's called) protocol, but is easy to set up and easy to use.
If you have a spare computer, you can install IPCop on that computer, and IPCop will handle this for you once it is setup. That computer will act as a gateway to the internet for your other network computers. This solution allows for added security and much more customisation and flexibility, but is more difficult to setup and requires a dedicated computer. Once again, there is info in a forum thread on IPCop.
If you are a linux user, and your router once again has the bridge mode of operation, you can setup the traffic routing manually in linux. There is a post on how to do this in Kubuntu on the forums.
By the way, bridge mode essentially is a mode of operation in which your computer manages the dialing up. It effectively puts your ADSL modem into a dial-up mode of operation, so your computer handles negotiating the connection, instead of your ADSL router handling the connection (that is the way you're currently doing things in the router page).
Hope this sheds some light on this uniquely South African problem (not a good thing, mind you)
