Hi

I want to get ADSL at my Office and at my Home (seperate places) I have been told that Telkom won't install a HomeDSL line at a business premises (is this true?) so it looks like I will have to go with the BusinessDSL at the Office. If I get that installed along with a BusinessDSL 512 account will I be able to use that account (ie. the username and password) on a HomeDSL 384 line that I will then get installed at my house. Also, if so, will I be able to use the account simultaneously at the Office and at my Home. If this works is this the only way that I would be able to do this? Are there any better solutions that I haven't thought of, besides going with something such as Sentech, iBurst, etc.

Thanks

The line portion of ADSL is separated from the ISP portion of ADSL.
So - get an office line, and the home line. Once you've recovered from the extreme costs, contact any ISP selling ADSL bandwidth and see what they can offer. Each ISP has their own tricks for providing you with internet and extra functionality.

So then that means that I will be able to use the 512 package that I sign up with my ISP for on the BusinessDSL line AND the HomeDSL line?

Hi,

I use one account on 3 different connections. My ISP is Cybersmart and they are great. Not sure if it also works on different packages ie 512 and 384 but give them a call. www.cybersmart.co.za 021 461 0014, speak to Laurie, I normally deal with him.
