@Neotel

I have been thinking about signing up with Neotel for home. I've since been given the opportunity to work remotely, requiring me to have a mobile connection, which then lead me to ask the question - could I have e.g. Prime at home and NeoGo on my laptop, linked to the same account and bandwidth allocation??

Same device same CAP?

Nope sorry buddy, no can do for now and there is nothing in the pipeline @ the moment. I will however put this through to the chaps in product as a suggestion.

Fedback from product is that this will require some new toys to put on the network so development will take awhile soz we couldn't do something right for you :o

Can you give us any indication of new products / services being planned? How far is Wimax for consumers?

Pitty, dual sim from the cell phone networks does exactly what you want. But not a neotel offering????!!! This is similar to my previous request, multiple handsets on a prime or lite service? Neotel says not available now. If NEotel wants to compete with Tlkm in fixed services, we need to have multiple handsets, most home users have multiple phones on their ONE telkom line.....

NeoGo

Out of sheer curiousity - lets say someone who had a Neogo account cancels and sells their USB device to me? Could I plug in my neoflex username and password into that device and use it on the go?

Off the cuff - dont think it will work inconjunction with your devices ESN....

Could you edit the firmware on NeoGo to replicate the ESN of the Prime/Flex device?

I'm not talking about simultaneous connections, 1 at a time will do :)

Interesting - so assuming I don't mind the Rev 0, it may be possible?

Anyhow, as per the rep's response, it doesn't look like Neotel are looking at such things currently.
