Your router needs to have a feature called half bridge or full bridge mode.

Not without a router that can handle Dual PPPoE connections and custom routing
a FAR simpler option would be 1 ADSL router that supports half-bridge(PPPoE Passthrough) and an extra Wireless WAN router with the second account configured and the WAN port connected to one of the open ports on the ADSL router

It means that you can have multiple ppoe connections on one DSL line (in short you can connect to different ADSL accounts).
With Half bridge you can have the router connect to a default account and then anyone who connects to that router will use that account automatically, they will also have the option of dialing up to another account by making a new connection on their own PC.
I did it a different way by using a ADSL router and a separate wireless router with a gateway port. You put the router in to half bridge mode and connect it to my gaming DSL account. Then on the wireless router I connect the gateway port to my ADSL router and configure it to connect to an uncapped account.
People who plug directly into the dsl router connect to the gaming account and those who connect via wifi connect to the uncapped account

So what you saying is I need two routers one just for lan to one pc and then a wireless one for wireless ? I have one of these not been used at home http://www.comx.co.za/computer-store-specifications.php?products=17285 could I use that for 1 account to desktop via lan cable then the standard telkom one connected to that one for the wireless ?

They are different hardware though..

Could be useable along with a Wireless ADSL router that supports half-bridge,just reverse the instructions I gave earlier
So just a question on this there is a wireless router setup at the house now with a standard telkom account on it ! So if I can put it into Half bridge mode and leave the standard telkom account on it then connect my desktop via cable and buy an account for gaming on and some small downloads setup on my PC it wont touch that account ? And also would I get lag as I think its a 384 line when someone else is browsing ?

I think most routers support bridge mode, and I think most have it enabled by default. I don't know about the one you have, but you can try setting up PPPoE connections on your computer.
How these PPPoE connections on your computer work is, it sets up a sort of a dial-up connection, which connects your computer directly to the ADSL account. So you enter the username and password on your computer, instead of on the router. Your computer will be using that account now, instead of the one entered on the router, while everyone else on the network who doesn't dial-in manually to a PPPoE connection uses the account details saved on the router.
This way you could have everyone on your network use his own account if you really wanted.
Google "how to set up PPPoE on Windows 7" or "how to set up PPPoE on Windows XP", depending on what operating system you're running. It's not a complicated process at all.
If it turns out that your router doesn't support bridge mode or if it's turned off, then you'll get an error trying to dial in.

You are correct about the first part.
With regards to the lag... its hard to tell but router will manage the data so that both accounts get 50% of the connection. However your gaming account should have a better ping so you may well get reduced lag.

Yes, it would still lag if someone else uses the Internet, because in the end you're still going to share the 4Mbps ADSL connection.
Having 2x 4Mbps uncapped accounts on a single 4Mbps account won't allow you to magically download at 8Mbps
Having a 10Mbps account should slightly decrease the effect of other people using the same ADSL line, but if they're going to pull data at 9Mbps, you're most definitely gonna lagg just as badly as someone downloading at 900kbps on a 1Mbps ADSL line.

Great so Im stuffed as I think its a 384 line ! Was playing bfbc2 the other night and my gf decided to browse the net and my ping went from 150 to 999 ! This router sounds good though it give gaming first priority and slows down browsing ! http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=643

Please note that the D-Link that you've posted isn't an ADSL modem, so you'll still have to use your existing ADSL modem with it.
On a 384kbps there is almost nothing that you can do to allow others to browse while you're gaming.
For me to have an acceptable latency for CS1.6 on my parents' 384kbps ADSL line, I had to limit all the other traffic to 64kbps, which made my dad furious.
On a 1Mbps line you can limit & shape the other traffic without making it unbearable to use.
On a 384kbps there is almost nothing that you can do to allow others to browse while you're gaming.

I know I have an similar setup at my parents house with the standard billion router running into this http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=548 and it works like a dream I get 60-80 pings over wireless its awesome but thats on a 4meg line ! So if I got them to upgrade to a 1meg line and setup that router you rekon it will run fine ?
