2 kids stabbed multiple times during Soweto robbery

JOHANNESBURG - Police have confirmed two young boys, aged two and three, were stabbed multiple times in a robbery in Soweto last night.

Police say the youngest was stabbed three times while the elder child was stabbed eight times.

Both were rushed to a local hospital but their condition is not currently known.

Police are searching for two robbers who stormed the Dobsonville house and fled with electronics.

It’s not clear what led to the violent attack.

The police's Kay Makhubela says authorities are searching for the two robbers.

“We have opened a case of house robbery as well as attempted murder. We are continuing with our investigation. No one has been arrested as yet.”
