yea but im only going to use it for checking colours ad making sure the design looks 100%

spending another 2.8k on a samsung seems alot for that when i can get a 19" sahara lcd for like 1.5k

I'd spend the extra on the 22" myself ;)

I've got a 17" that I hook-up when I need the extra space for graphics work - I call it my virtual scrap-paper :)

Make sure they're both properly profiled if colour is important.

A point to bear in mind is that the 2232GW does NOT have VESA mounting holes and the stand that comes with it really sucks. So if you want to do anything with it other than have it sit really low on your desk, then you better look elsewhere. The 226BW on the other hand...:)

Price difference between the two?

Good luck finding a 226BW in a shop as it has been discontinued

IC are running a special whereby it is R2999, which I think is great. I prefer it to the 2232GW and would have bought a 226BW instead of the 2232GW if I could have found one for that price then.

well lcd's never show true colour especially with corel draw but i hate having all these papers and having to keep changing files to view the colour

i just basically want it to show me the design so i can see whats going on

since vectormagic i no longer have to redrawn 90% of the logo's i need to recreate for print

damn the best 60 dolla's i ever spent was on vector magic

Hmm ......... I wonder if you could super-glue small but strong brackets to the back and then hang it from a shelf?

You think its worth $60 per year? I guess you must use it a lot. I only noticed the other day that they had even started charging for it

If you have a colorimeter[sic] you can get most screens to display fairly accurate colours - even LCDs :)
