2 Tuner HD PVR Special

Is the 2 tuner better hardware? Is it 2 HD outputs? Or 1 output and 1 recorder?

I must say my 2p HD PVR is starting piss me off a little. . . Its slow. :(
 
Looks like the Makro Special is over.. I'm going to try my local Game branch again on Thursday as they currently don't have stock.. Hopefully they'll beat the price for me.. I don't mind buying from Kalahari but I'm a bit worried about the warranty, even though Kalahari says its covered by the supplier, I don't trust Multichoice to honour the warranty, they'll probably tell me to take it back to Kalahari.. And Kalahari will probably charge for return shipping..

CPA :)

Oh - and Game would probably have told you the same.
 
The CPA doesn't mean everything now only gets a six month warranty. Imagine ... "Thank you sir for spending R200,000 on one of our new vehicles, if anything goes wrong after six months, sorry for you!!!"

I'm pretty sure its still a 12 month warranty, on the decoder that is.

That I know.. the normal warranty period will still apply.. What I mean is they (MC) can't tell you to take it back the retailer, they should do the warranty, as they are also responsible..
 
Thanks. Somehow I missed it in the catalogue last night.

Think I'll wait a little while longer before getting it.

You trust Game? I've personally had the most horrific experiences at Game and can think of at least 3 people I know who've sukkeled to come right with them. To top it off, their customer service is on par with Builder's Warehouse. Nuff said.

Anyway, I've just bought the PVR at Kalahari. Last time I ordered books from them, I got doubles of each one, so maybe I'll get 2 ;)
