You don't need two NICs, you can plug the iBurst desktop modem into a switch, you just have to change the modem's address IP address from 192.168.0.1 otherwise it will clash with the Windows PC doing ICS.if you're a real cheapskate, use windows' internet connection sharing method.
you'll need two NIC's in the host PC though. (or one NIC if the iburst router goes in via USB).
+1A router, as suggested above, will be much quicker and easier.
