2 xtra views setup

Hi

I currenlty have 1131x2 one primary, one secondary, dual lnb and i assume 60cm dish.
I have kids fighting over channels and need them each to have own channel selection capabality. to watch what they want and not fight. I have colleagues that have used old decoders and have the setup i need. changing out the dual for smart lnb. i need to know if this is possible as dstv says no you must have new hd decoders with xplora. I am not worried about hd viewing for kids. all i want is 2 xtra views. Please advise as by my calculations this gets costly and I would have to find buyers for old dish,lnb and decoders to make it work for me.

Similar situation, but I have 2 of the new small HD decoders. They were cheap (just over R300) so I got them. Why have a HD tv and you cannot see the benefit.
So the 2 work nicely together now after DSTV messed it up twice when I changed them, but I want to add another tv to the setup.
Do not want to invest to heavily in DSTV setup.

xtraview with 3 decoders only works with a DStv Explora decoder as their primary decoder, and then link any combination of Explora decoders or DStv 4U HD single view decoders in this three decoder arrangement Older decoder models are not capable of the technical changes required to run three decoders in XtraView. and the new LNB

So mvniekerk1 unfortunately if yo uwant 3 independent environments you need to buy a new Smart LNB (i doubt you currently have one), xplora and 2 HD decoders (that would be the cheapest

and LPCPT a the Smart LNB (if you don't have one already) and an xplora
Dish wise you might make t work with a small Dish though they don't recommend it.

Or you know teach kids to compromise
