It's All About Ferrari Winning
McLaren were stupid to say they just wanted clarification of the rules. They needed to come out be direct and assertive and say they want the rules enforced fairly and consistently. They were right to say they wanted it reviewed as a race and not as in a championship-deciding ruling. They however failed to emphasise this and their lack of self-assurance has been the only criticism that I would have of them.
If what happened in Brazil happened in Melbourne or Malaysia, or even in Japan, the rules would have been enforced. But no one in the FIA has the balls to make a fair decision when it needs to be made. They only have the balls to make the Ferrari decision whenever the Italians want to have a whine. The same thing happened when Senna died. Because after all, Frank Williams had been criminally negligent. What a crock of s***. Williams built their car to FIA regulations - oh but wait... the Italians can't go after the FIA because then they would have no one to blow wind up their a**.
Had Brazil been the first race on the calendar and Shanghai the last, then Hamilton would have won the championship and there would have been none of the garbage that has gone on now. The rules would have been enforced by the stewards. I cannot stand Lewis Hamilton - he is a snotty nosed brat who would have achieved nothing if it wasn't for the fact that Britons have the luxury of entering Formula 1 with a silver spoon in their mouth (hell if Jenson Button was from Russia he would have been out of Formula 1 faster than you can say Midlands).
All of the morons out there who are FIA and Ferrari sympathisers need to acknowledge that the disqualification of the Williams and BMW's for breaching the rules in accordance with the rules would not have decided the championship. The championship was decided over 17 races. Yes it would suck for Raikkonen to lose the championship because people who finished behind him in the last race were penalised for cheating - but it would suck a lot more for Hamilton to lose the championship because people in front of him were not penalised for cheating.
Ferrari are the ones without integrity and are willing to win a championship with the assistance of drivers and teams that have breached the rules. Accidental or not, the breach occurred, the rules should have been enforced. However because Ferrari was the aggressive pig that it usually is, no one had the courage to question their integrity as it was easier to jump on the bandwagon and try and slaughter one of the last privateer teams than to risk facing a lawsuit for defamation from Ferrari - because Ferrari are aggressive and pushy and get what they want.
The sooner that Max Mosley, Bernie Ecclestone and Ferrari p**s off the better the sport will be. Ferrari are a bunch of prima donnas who will win a championship at any cost. And before everyone starts getting on their high horse and putting **** on McLaren for the 'Stepneygate' affair, I seriously doubt that that is the only team or instance of espionage/information transfer as Renault was able to verify. Hell if you look at the late 90's computer game Grand Prix Manager 2 (an FIA licensed game), you have the ability to hire security as well as to engage in espionage and there is no punishment in the game for that (only that you have to pay for the espionage and don't necessarily get any information). Should Ferrari not also be responsible for securing their information?
Ferrari are the ultimate hypocrites because had the roles been reversed, they would have launched an aggressive attack to ensure their interests were protected. McLaren's mistake was that they were too polite and gentle. Although McLaren do not have the same muscle as those w**kers at Ferrari. But hey, I guess it won't be long before we get to see Formula 1 resembling the race at Indianapolis a few years back. I'm sure that's the way Ferrari would prefer it, as long as everyone agrees to finish no higher than 3rd then they will be permitted to participate. Otherwise Ferrari will call on their little b**ch Tozzi to find someway to make the rules be disregarded or Mosley to formulate some rules to ensure that Ferrari can win.
