2003 BMW 318i gear change problem

Hi..

Just borrowed someone my car(BMW 318i 2003 manual f/l – 102km) during the weekend, & after that it started giving me gear change problem…

Whenever I change the gear 1,2,3,4 & reverse.. it is so hard.. & had to push it hard for that change...

Thought it would be fine at a later stage… but is still persistent.. What could be the problem… :

Could be the gearshift linkage - a small ballsjoint at the base of the gearlever that is worn. There is also a very good site for BMW forums - www.e46fanatics.com

Would you borrow someone your wife? Why then grant them carte blance to have their way with your baby? Only person i "might" lend my car is my mom maybe, she took good care of me so i assume she'd do the same to my baby
