Hi guys

Some help needed please, i have a very annoying issue with the headlight switch, everytime i start the car the headlights go on, even though the switch is off, at times the headlights would stay off but that hardly ever happens. If i play with the switch the lights would go off, so could it be a connection that is faulty inside the light switch???

Having a hard time finding anything on the net.

err.. does you car by any chance have that sensor to detect the dark and put lights on automatically?

nope does not have automatic lights, but the thing is when i play around with the switch in the off position the headlights start flickering and go off, then the light switch works as it should, after a while of driving the lights will just go on and you have to play around with the switch again to get them off, or else i just turn the switch on to low beams.

I had a similar problem with my fog lights - not living in an area that gets much fog I just removed the fuse - not an option for you though.

Damn and i thought that i could avoid that route thinking maybe it's just dust or a loose connector inside the switch.

So much for wishful thinking

So when i get another switch can i DIY and fit it in with no problems?
