2004 Citroen C5 2 litre Automatic

I have a Citroen C5 2 Litre Automatic Hatchback which has done 106,000 kms. and on a Citroen Forum in the UK I was told that I could fit a Cruise Control to my model. I bought the Stalk Regulator, fitted it, but I cannot find anyone (including the Agents) who can programme the Computers to accept the Regulator.
The Citroen is a magnificent and exceptionally comfortable car but I do long trips I feel I need the Cruise Control.
Is there anyone in Gauteng who can assist.
I am considering replacing it with Honda Civic VXi (with same mileage) which has Cruise Control but the Trade-ins Dealers give on French cars is absolutely pathetic.
