Hi Guys

The car has a fault and has been sitting in my garage for a while now,we plan to sell the car eventually but the tank is almost half full...thats 30 liters.

I tried a piece of garden hose pipe, couldnt hit the fuel - I blowed and listened,no bubbles, I pulled the pipe and the end was dry.

I then tried a small hose meant for irrigation and got the same results, no bubbles- no wet line.

I looked under the car for a drain and couldnt see one one the actual tank.

I think this car has that green ball that prevents the fuel from being siphoned.

Any suggestions? The car wont turn on because the accelerator cable snapped right at the engine so - no fuel to engine at all.

Thanks

Im not going to even attempt to remove the tank, Im an IT nerd.
Is the fuel pump in the engine bay or in the fuel tank?

Usually sits on top of tank. You can access it by lifting the backseats.

can you tow the car?
check your insurance policy to see if you got roadside assistance;

try get it to a garage to either remove the tank or fix the accelerator cable;

If you want to start the car, pop the bonnet and operate the throttle by hand while someone else turns the key. You can do both if you have long arms.
