2006/2007 Premiership Footy Thread

thanks for handing the gunners the #3 spot :)

Liverpool ran rings around Manure like no team has done all season. Manure looked like a bunch of school kids :o . In the second half at least. Scholes even got sent off because of a childish hissy fit :D

It was a very good game. Both teams played excellent footie(Manure only in the first half:o ). I don't mind losing that much when we play that well.

Bring on Barca  We'll beat them if we play like we did against Manure. There's only so much luck is this world and Manure has the vast majority of it.

And I don't mind winning when we play that badly :D

Like we have done in the last three games or so!

That is what you need to do if you are going to win the league.

Who cares who comes third. Winning is what it is all about :D

Ofcourse, and congratulations to utd for taking the #1 spot ;)

But a spot in the champions league next year will be appreciated, and its nice to be on top of liverpool ;)
should silence some of the fans

Who's on top of Liverpool? Not Arsenal :p

well
by 1 point,
but Arsenal have 2 games in hand.. :) so enjoy it while it lasts

yeah
they are playing their 4th and 5th choice strikers atm with van persie and adebayor out too

yeah he is, he just needs to get some confidence
as for viera, well... the current midfield has a bright future.. abou diaby is looking good, he really came out against Chelsea.. and Fabregas is well, Fabregas :) cant say much more about the guy..

Every team wants him in their midfield.. though yesterday he made a few really bad mistakes..

A definite transition of midfield is evident in most of the top teams. United need replacements for Scholes and Giggsy as they are not going to be young forever.

Carrick and Fletcher should not still be at United.

Chelsea have less of an issue ( due to their huge resources) However, as long as they play Ballack it will be like they are down to 10 men from the kick off.

Liverpool seem to be content to play the way they do, but they seem to me to lack any kind of genuine width. Jermaine 'convict' Pennant seems way out of his depth to me, and without Carragher at the back, they would have been overrun yesterday even with United playing so poorly.

Other than he can't score even in front of a gapping goal :o

Then again he greats goals out of nothing

Frustrating he certainly is...

Back to Chelsea I can't understand why they are letting Robben rot on the bench when he is one of their best players.
