Hi All

Wonder if someone can please help.

My niece needs to get 2 replacement keys for her car.

Opel want R2K for 1 key. Which is crazy

I see a lot of places advertised on the internet for locksmiths offering replacement keys and coding, all based in Cape Town.....

Anyone of anyone up reliable locksmiths here in JHB, as close as possible to Alberton, that can help?

Thanks in advanced
Ryan

The only LEGAL way around it is to go via GM, I'm afraid _ I would be very suspicious of a locksmith who advertises coding and cutting - an old key - yes, a new one...no.

Quick question is the broken key still starting the car?

If it is, then surely all you have to do is cover the holes or take the cover from a write off and it will be fine.

Sorry, originally when I said new or old, I meant that an old car without a transponder is easy enough for a locksmith to do, it's the ones with transponders that have to be replaced by dealers.
