Well, realistically how close did we come last year? Two games away from another treble. This year we will certainly be pretty close to the Double either way.

The treble would've still been on, had Portsmouth not stolen the match that they deserved to lose. Like killa said, when balls get cleared off the line and goes against the bar and the ref's not on your side and when you've clearly dominated and created so many chances but the ball just doesn't want to go in, there's nothing you can really do but just accept that some days it's just not your day.

Ok, so how often have man usa won? Once? Heck, they are still so far behind Liverpool in overall wins as a team it's not funny... so if you want to talk history, then Liverpool is the best team ever....

liverpool have won it 18 times
so when united lift the league this year they will be one behind liverpool
you guys talk like winning the treble is something english teams do all the time
just to have won it once is amazing if you ask me
