Lets hope it stays this way ...

LEHMANN versus CHRIS KIRKLAND February 2007-With Wigan moving into an early lead, Latics keeper Chris Kirkland, much to the chargrin of Gooners, wasted record amounts of time, I think in preparation for one of his goalkicks, the Clock End timepiece vomited in disgust. So when Arsenal turned the game around late on, Lehmann decided to exact hilarious retribution. Firstly instructing the ball boy to leave the ball behind his goal, he indulged in a game of wallball with the advertising hoardings. Once he was good and ready he placed the ball on the edge of his six yard area to take the kick, before changinghis mind and moving the ball to the other side ofhis box in an act of piss taking against Kirkland. He received a yellow card for his troubles, which in turn led to a suspesnion. A goalkeeper who can amass five bookings by February. Says it all.

Hilarious moment, will miss Jens!!! Classic guy

I think Benitez is a fool for this remark ,
"Clearly it will be more difficult for Torres next season; defenders will have watched him and will work on stopping him".

Basically he is inviting all clubs to watch him and stop him. Stupid manager.

Another laughable post from you. Every year the top flight strikers managers sings the same tune Rafa is singing. If you think that only because Rafa said that, and now they are all gonna try to stop him. bwhhahaha Classic.

They would try to stop him irrespective of what his manger tells the media. So u think Rafa is a fool. Look in the mirror if you want to see a fool ;)

Milan Confirm Flamini Deal

F**k that pisses me off. I know there has been speculation for ages that he, amongst others would leave Arsenal at the end of the season, but now that it's confirmed.

Next it'll be Hleb. I'm sure Flamini will be replaced by some unknown Frenchmen who'll take a few seasons to grow in to the Arsenal side and we'll be further back than where we've ended this season.

I'm not sure how you can move forward when your stars keep leaving. Henry, Viera, Pires and now Flamini.

I agree. A crazy decision that one, to go with some crazy decisions to sell key players in previous seasons as well.

Flamini wasnt considered one for the future geek, he only started to shine this season... He was set to sign for Birmingham before this season started!

I think it was Henry and Vierra's decision to leave. The club really never had a say. They wanted to contend in Europe and for the league, and when they were at Arsenal, the club just wasnt serious contenders.

Wenger knows when to sell players.. Flamini wasnt his choice to sell..

There is no way Ade would have scored 30 goals this season with Henry around... Cesc has taken a step up... and we wouldnt have signed Eduardo, who has tons of potential..

yea remember henry left because wenger had promised him some super stars to play alongside him which arsene never came through

also i think henry was tired of being the only player who do anything in arsenal and when barce came along packed fulla stars he jumped ship becuase he could see promise in barca which kinda back fired on him though

i think henry and adebayor would have made one of the best striking partnerships in the league but anyways

It was always Henrys wish to play for a club that can win big cups. All the years he was at Arsenal, they always failed at the final hurdle. I can see how this would frustrate a player.

What i find amusing is, Vierra left cos he was tired of Arsenal not contending for cups and that year his team was involved in the match fixing debacle. Arsenal went onto make the CL final.

Henry left for more or less the same reasons. Arsenal suddenly became serious contenders for the league, and Barca probably had their worst season ever.

What like Fergie did with Stam, Horseface, Becks.......

Well one only needs to look at Alex Ferhguson, i think he is probably the manager who sells most of his players when they are in their prime.

I think the team was stronger once they had left. Had to develop to make up for them leaving and it did. When Becks left, he did not have much more to contribute imo.

Really? :o

It's just so disappointing to see our team come so close and to see Flamini leave after he and Fabregas formed such a good partnership this season.

Lol @ nearly signing for Birmingham. I never knew that.

just because he never played well before under the shadow of henry does not mean he was never good

nor does it mean you should let one of your best players go

yea but snap they back up those sales with even better buys where as arsenal get rid of their super stars and replace them with okes who takes 2 season's to do anything

Dont blame the oke. Wenger always used to bench him. This season he showed what he is worth. When AC came to the party, im sure he jumped at the opportunity.

His contract was up at Arsenal anway, and he didnt want to renew it.
